Munich start-up WorkerHero celebrates its second anniversary

MUNICH, GERMANY, 08.06.2023 - The innovative Munich-based start-up WorkerHero proudly celebrates its 2-year anniversary since its launch as DriverHero in June 2021. With the aim of simplifying job search and recruiting for professionals and industrial personnel, WorkerHero provides a multilingual platform that is used in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

"Our mission was clear from the start - we wanted to revolutionize and simplify recruiting for industrial personnel and skilled workers," says Richard Fischer, CEO of WorkerHero. "With every jobseeker and employer we bring together, we get one step closer to this vision."

In its two years of operation, WorkerHero has achieved impressive milestones. After a successful first pre-seed investment round in October 2021 and the registration of 10,000 users in December 2021, the company conducted a second successful financing round in June 2022.

In January 2023, DriverHero underwent a strategic realignment to become WorkerHero in order to expand its offering to all skilled workers and industrial personnel. In addition to job searches, WorkerHero also offers its users free online training courses via the platform. Today, the platform has over 60,000 registered users and more than 200 companies, including Turck, Ukemix, Shell, Getir, Knuspr and Qwell.

WorkerHero prides itself on fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. The company consists of 35 employees, with a focus on gender equality (46% women, 54% men). WorkerHero also values global talent. In the hybrid model, employees from five countries currently work at WorkerHero.
