Press release: DriverHero makes way for WorkerHero

Munich, January 17, 2023 - "DriverHero," the talent and recruiting platform that connects companies with drivers, is becoming "WorkerHero," announcing a relaunch under a new name. The startup, which is part of Munich-based talent solution provider "Simpmatch," originally specialized in quickly connecting companies with drivers and is now expanding its expertise to the entire blue collar sector. WorkerHero aims to make a contribution to combating the increasing shortage of skilled workers and use its networking platform to place skilled personnel with companies in a targeted and efficient manner.

In the future, companies will find a large number of applicants on WorkerHero who can be contacted directly via the platform. Furthermore, companies can use individualized recruiting campaigns to target additional candidates for the job offer. WorkerHero takes care of the automated campaign creation, playout and optimization. To ensure an efficient recruiting process, WorkerHero also provides its own recruiting software.

The start-up has done its homework and will cover the entire blue collar sector in the future:

After the start-up has linked tens of thousands of drivers with companies on the DriverHero platform thanks to an intelligent matching algorithm, this success is now to be transferred to WorkerHero. There, job seekers now have a broader range of blue-collar jobs at their disposal.

"The need for suitable candidates is very high in many industries. After our first very positive experiences in the driver market on the company and candidate side, we are transferring our process and know-how to other industries," says Fischer.

WorkerHero is all about upskilling:

In addition to blue collar jobs, the WorkerHero platform also provides further training. The so-called upskilling of skilled and unskilled workers is a particular concern of the start-up.

"We are not a job slinger, our start-up acts with heart and brain. In the future, we will not only help people looking for work to find the right job in the right company, but also promote potential for further development," is how Fischer describes the advantages of the platform.

Based on their current job profile, interested parties are shown a range of training opportunities. With online crash courses, training courses and certification offers, the WorkerHero platform also wants to enable career changers to switch to other industries.

"We don't think it should be an unattainable privilege to be offered career opportunities and to work in your dream job. That's why we've created a platform that highlights exactly these opportunities for people," Fischer comments on the vision of the up-and-coming startup.
